I Googled "Does London, England have any petting zoos?" and came up with a staggering 22 different places where parents can take their kids and pet animals all you want. It isn't necessary to pester these working horses and guards! I am from the U.S. so I don't know how far these places are but the Kings Troopers and horses, who are also considered Troopers, are not supposed to be available as props for our picture taking and petting. But alas! I'm afraid my pleas are falling on deaf ears.

I wouldn't mind any Guard yelling Stand Clear when he and his horse are surrounded by too many people. Especially when you see more than 3 people trying to touch the horse at the same time..

There is no doubt this poor horse was enduring a problem with his ‘bit’. I was disappointed the Guard didn’t call for assistance to check it…he should have been on the ball with his head shaking. An hour is a long time for the horse to be in discomfort.💕🐎
